It was one of the best shows I’ve ever been to! Before hand, Corin was signing stuff at the merch table and I didn’t even know and it so I walked up to look around at what they had for sale and when I saw her there I about died. I didn’t know what to do so as I pondered whether or not to get her to sign my ticket I looked around and saw Carrie and Janet sitting and talking to Shannon Wright and I again had a near death moment. Seeing people from bands that I love makes me nervous. So as Corin signed my tickets I asked if I could snap a picture of her and she asked if I wanted to be in it and I’m like, “No,” and she laughed (Corin laughed at me!! Yay!) Anyhoo, so the Quails came on and were a cool band. They really got the crowd warmed up and they later said that we better be active or no S-K! Shannon Wright came on next and she rules! I really wanted to buy her cd but only had 2 dollars left after the show. :(
S-K finally came on after midnight and proceeded to rock. They played about all the new album songs and some older ones that I remember being played were: All Hands on The Bad One, Dig Me Out, Youth Decay, Get Up, You’re No Rock and Roll Fun, I Wanna Be Your Joey Ramone (the first song of the encore). I’ll remember more later. It was a good crowd, lots of singing along and Carrie even said we were the best crowd of the tour! She also said it was the hottest show they’ve ever played and it so was, they really need a/c at Emo’s.
